HOW TO JOIN PANGEA

Pangea Travel Program
Nearly every year, a team of Pangea members visits some of our projects to monitor their progress, build personal connections with our grantees, learn more about their problems, share knowledge and technology, and improve our grants process.

Travel with us to Mexico and Guatemala

In 2009, a Pangea team will visit , Mexico and Guatemala.  We will be making site visits, meeting with in-country experts, seeing potential new partners.  If you are interested in joining us on this trip or would like more details about the planned itinerary, please contact us at info@pangeagiving.org.  These trips are an incredible way to learn more about the challenges of the developing world.

Previous site visits, which included visiting our project sites as well as potential new partners, are catalogued below.

Asia, October 2008:  Two teams from Pangea's Asia "pod" traveled to Cambodia and Nepal, with a short stop in Thailand.

Nicaragua, May 2004:  Pangea completed its first study trip, a 9-day introduction to Nicaragua and its problems of water access and economic development. A small group of Pangea members were briefed on the political and economic situation, visited the job sites where Pangea projects funded in 2003 were recently completed, met with several organizations doing economic development work in the country, and had a little fun along the way. Follow the links below for descriptions and photos from the trip.
