Pangea's Trip to Asia: October 10-31, 2008
Two Pangea teams visited Thailand, Cambodia, and Nepal to learn more about Southeast and South Asia and review the work of organizations submitting proposals.
In the year preceding this trip, Asia pod members studied issues facing developing countries in the region. The pod decided that grant criteria would focus on water and sanitation, women's empowerment, and human rights issues associated with human trafficking and abusive labor practices.
