"Empowering Women and Youth in the Fight Against AIDS in Africa" |

On June 5, 2006, Pangea sponsored an event
to introduce others to its work, learn how women and youth are
participating in the fight against AIDS in sub-Saharan Africa, and
discuss how U.S. donors can help fight this terrible disease. We
were honored to have two outstanding speakers who gave us a first-hand
account of grassroots efforts that are underway in Kenya and South
Africa, efforts that are making a difference and that are being
supported by the international community. Below are a few pictures
